Who we are
Opening Soon Texas is a service of Piper James LLC, a Texas limited liability company. Email: [email protected].
What we collect from subscribers
Your work email address and the metro you chose. If you pay, Stripe handles the payment; we never see or store your card number. We keep a record of when you signed up, which ad or link you came from if there was one, the emails we sent you, and whether you unsubscribed.
Who processes it for us
Cloudflare hosts this site and stores the subscriber list. GitHub runs the software that builds the list. When emails and payments start, an email delivery service will send the emails and Stripe will take payments; this page will name the delivery service before the first email goes out. We do not sell or rent subscriber information to anyone.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no advertising cookies. If we run ads, we count signups that came from an ad so we know what the ad cost us.
How long we keep it
For as long as you are subscribed or on a trial, and up to 24 months after, so we can honor unsubscribes and answer billing questions. Ask and we will delete it sooner.
About the businesses in our lists
Our lists are built only from public records published by the State of Texas: pending liquor license applications from the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission, sales tax permit holders from the Texas Comptroller, and the Comptroller's franchise tax records, which name a company's officers and registered agent. We show the business name, the legal entity, the business address on the permit, the type of business, filing dates, and the people named in the company's public franchise tax record with their titles. We do not collect or publish phone numbers or email addresses. We leave out sole proprietors and apartment addresses, and withhold the street address where it looks residential.
Corrections and removal
If you are named in a list and want your name removed or corrected, email [email protected] with the business name. We will remove or correct it in future emails within 10 business days. We cannot change the state's own records.
Changes
If this policy changes we will post the new version here with a new date.
