New Austin business filings, every weekday morning, with who is on file with the state.
A short email each weekday morning with the new liquor permit applications and new sales tax permits the state posted since the last one. Each comes with the business address and who is on file with the state.
No card. Your free 2 weeks start with the first email, and we will write to you before it does. After that it is one email each weekday morning. Nothing is charged unless you choose to subscribe. By signing up you agree to the terms and privacy policy.
Every weekday, not once a week. Liquor applications and sales tax permits in one email, with sole proprietors, mailbox addresses and the chains we can identify already taken out.
Counted from our own pulls of state records, as of Sun Oct 11. A company with several permits or locations in a county counts once.
People's names and street addresses are never shown on this site. They are in the email.
What each row gives you
- The business name and the legal entity behind it, with the month the company was formed.
- The street address on the permit. It is withheld when the address looks like a home.
- What it is: a bar, a restaurant, a salon, a repair shop, a contractor, a store.
- The date the application was filed or the permit was issued.
- Who is on file with the Texas Comptroller, with the role the state lists: owner, officer, or registered agent.
What it does not give you: phone numbers or email addresses. They are not in these records and we do not guess.
Know who to ask for before you call
Every lead is labeled the way the state lists it. In the last 7 days, 55% named an owner or officer, 30% named only a registered agent, and 15% had no one on file yet. You see which is which at a glance.
One thing to know: a company formed in the last few months usually has only a registered agent on file, and a registered agent may not be an owner. Owner and officer names are mostly on established companies opening a new location.
$79 a month per metro. One subscription covers your whole agency.
Founding rate: $49 a month for the Austin metro, for the first 25 agencies to subscribe, for as long as you stay subscribed. The offer ends Dec 31, 2026, or when 25 agencies have joined.

Questions
How new are the filings? Each weekday morning we pull what the state posted since the last email. Monday's email covers Friday through Sunday. Every row shows its own filing date, so you can judge for yourself.
Are these all brand-new companies? No. About 44 in 100 are companies formed in the past year, marked NEW. The rest are existing companies with a new permit or a new location.
Will every one of these open? No. A liquor application can be withdrawn or denied, and a sales tax permit is a plan, not a ribbon cutting. A filing is not a guarantee a business will open.
Can't I pull this from the state myself? You can. It is public, in three separate state datasets. We join them, take out sole proprietors, temporary permits, mailbox addresses and the chains we can identify, and label who is on file. You get the short list each morning instead of the raw files.
Why no phone numbers? They are not in these public records, and we do not add scraped or guessed numbers. You get the business, the address and who is on file.
Who is behind this? Piper James LLC, a Texas limited liability company. The list is built by software from state records each weekday morning.
